American singer-songwriter, Teyana Taylor has released her brand-new clothing line on January 25.

The creative director has partnered up with UK based online fashion retailer, PrettyLittleThing to unveil her exclusive collection which was designed by Teyana herself.

In a press release, Teyana expresses:

“I had so much freedom to be allowed to design this collection with the team. I would never just put my name on something and not want to be fully involved and totally put my all into it.”

PLT X Teyana has a total of 25 pieces, delivering a “girly girl feels with tomboy edge” which are a reflection of Teyana’s signature style. The collection caters to all sizes, ranging from UK size 4 to 26.

The colour palette varies from neutral colours such as grey, black and silver to earthy tones like brown, indigo with a hint of lime green.

The clothes themselves, feature faux leather utility and bomber jackets, skin-showing bodycon dresses, along with fuzzy neon crop tops and jumpsuits. There are also accessories like bucket hats, and bandanas which complement the clothes as a whole fit.

Teyana’s innovative vision comes to life within the collection as she successfully captures female sexuality, allowing you to confidently embrace who you are as an individual.

Teyana also brings back the 90’s in her collection as she pays homage to 90’s fashion where “high fashion couture meets streetwear”. She blends classic hip hop, soul and R&B to her clothes. Being born and raised in Harlem, New York, it’s no surprise that there are cultural influences of her hometown. ‘Harlem’ and ‘New York’ are embroidered on some of the pieces of clothing.

The PLT X Teyana collection is now available online on the PrettyLittleThing website.
