The Union of Brunel Students is planning to launch the University’s own bus service.
On January 22, the committee members received an email containing a message from the Student Union President of Brunel, Ranjeet Rathore. In this message, it was explained that The Union is trying to organise Brunel’s own bus service but needs at least 2000 responses to make this possible.
They made a survey which asks various questions regarding the bus services and includes a map with 3 different bus route options that connect the station of West Drayton and Uxbridge station with Brunel University.
It also states that the designed routes provide a “quick and direct” way from these key stations to the University and student accommodation areas. The aim of this bus service is make it easier for students to get to and from University and reduce the need to rely on public buses.
Questions in the survey are put to outline what times people would arrive and leave Brunel, hereby creating a bus service fitted to the students’ timetables.
The survey was only done last week, so we will keep our readers updated on any important updates on this possible Brunel bus service. You can find the survey at this link: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/895NPNL
